Workshops mark 50 years of Apollo 11 moon landing

first_imgHyderabad: To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, the US Consulate General Hyderabad, in partnership with United-States-India Educational Foundation, conducted two workshops on “Space and Science” for students here in Hyderabad on Saturday. Around 100 students from underserved communities participated in these workshops conceptualized and led by US Department of State exchange alumna and astrophysicist at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Dr Priya Hasan, as well as Dr Najam Hasan, Head of the Department of Mathematics at MANUU.
