He was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, she said. The shooting occurred at 9:30 p.m. on Albany Avenue, less than a mile away from last week’s triple homicide in Wyandanch. No suspects have been apprehended in that shooting and police have not issued an update on the investigation. Investigators ask anyone with information about Tuesday’s shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls are anonymous.
