Two vie to lead Rio Hondo College

first_imgWHITTIER – Rio Hondo College will host an open public forum Wednesday afternoon for the top two finalists vying for job of college president. Monte Perez and Ted Martinez Jr., both former community college administrators, will speak to faculty, students and residents and answer question at the meeting, which begins at 1 p.m. at the college, 3600 Workman Mill Road. Afterward, the college’s board of trustees has scheduled a 4:30 p.m. closed-door meeting to discuss the president’s position. Officials could possibly make a final choice at that time.
