The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida Collegeof Medicine – Jacksonville (UFCOM-J) seeks a part-time or full-timefaculty member at the non-tenure accruing level ofAssistant/Associate/Full Professor. The faculty member’s primaryassignment will be with the University of Florida Center forHIV/AIDS Research, Education and Service (UF CARES) at the UFCOM-J. UF CARES is the only comprehensive HIV program in northFlorida serving adults, adolescents, children and pregnant women.Care is provided with a multidisciplinary philosophy and includesmedical, mental, health, substance abuse, social service, casemanagement, advocacy, nutritional counseling and pharmacologyservices all at one place. UF CARES is recognized as patientcentered medical home by NCQA and is a NIH funded research site.Responsibilities will include providing primary care for adults inthe outpatient setting with no inpatient responsibilities.The successful candidate will have a MD/DO degree and be boardcertified/board eligible in family practice, internal medicine,medicine-pediatrics or infectious diseases with eligibility forFlorida licensure.
